Purushottam Maas, also known as Adhika Masa or Mal Maas, is one of the most sacred and spiritually powerful months in Sanatan Dharma. Dedicated to Lord Shri Krishna and Lord Vishnu, this rare holy month comes once in nearly 3 years and is considered extremely auspicious for Bhakti, Seva, Charity, Puja, Japa, and spiritual purification.
Scriptures describe Purushottam Maas as the best time to perform Anna Daan, Gau Seva, Tulsi Seva, Gita Daan, Deity Seva, Sadhu Bhojan, Harinam Sankirtan, Ekadashi Vrat, and special Krishna Puja to receive divine blessings, remove sins, gain spiritual merit, and attract peace, prosperity, and devotion in life.
