Ekadashi Seva
A Day of Devotion, Purity, and Divine Blessings
Performing Ekadashi seva brings health, prosperity, divine blessings, purification of karma, removal of malefic effects of planets, and success, fostering spiritual and material well-being.
Papankusha Ekadashi: 2-Oct-25
Papankusha Ekadashi falls in the month of Ashwin (Shukla Paksha) and is dedicated to the worship of Lord Padmanabha, a form of Lord Vishnu. Scriptures glorify this vrata as a powerful means to destroy accumulated sins (pāpa) and secure liberation from worldly bondage. Observing fasting on this sacred day, engaging in chsarity & kīrtana, and offering Tulsi leaves to the Lord grant immense spiritual merit. It is said that by observing Papankusha Ekadashi, one is blessed with a virtuous life, freedom from fear of death, and ultimate attainment of Vaikuntha.
Devotees are also encouraged to perform acts of charity such as donating food, clothes, and supporting the service of cows, saints, and temples. Feeding Vaishnavas and distributing prasadam are highly praised on this day. By embracing devotion and charity with sincerity, Papankusha Ekadashi uplifts the soul, purifies the heart, and invites the eternal grace of Lord Vishnu.
