Description
Ekadashi is one of the most sacred days in the Vedic calendar, observed with fasting, prayer, chanting, and deep devotion to the Supreme Lord. On this spiritually powerful occasion, special pujas, aarti, pushpanjali, Tulsi archana, and devotional offerings are performed at ISKCON temple with great care and reverence. Devotees participate to seek purification of the heart, removal of past karmic reactions, divine protection, and steady spiritual growth.
On Ekadashi, worship of Lord Narasimha is also performed for protection from obstacles, fear, and negativity. Sacred rituals and prayers are offered for the well-being of devotees and their families. In addition, anna daan in the form of khichdi prasadam distribution, sadhu bhojan, brahman bhojan, and vaishnava seva is conducted, as charity on Ekadashi is considered especially auspicious and spiritually rewarding.
